Terms and Conditions of Engagement
Inviting a Hyde Inside consultant to your home/business/site indicates that you agree to pay these fees and accept these Terms and Conditions, except where superseded by the Individual Contract.
Standard Services (GST exclusive)

A letter confirming your brief to hyde inside forms our Individual Contract for all design work. Projects with a budget of $100,000+ also include a Scope of Work document. Any discrepancies must be resolved before any designs, plans, other drawings or specifications are made.
For all work travel and travel time is charged at $1.30 per km from Titirangi, West Auckland. Disbursements such as photocopying, courier and postage are charged at cost.
For work other than fixed price packages, project management and documentation, time spent on the client’s behalf eg meetings and telephone time with the client, special research, sourcing individual items and purchasing advice, is charged at $75 + GST per hour.
Most projects are quoted separately. Any work additional to that included in the Individual Contract is charged at the above rates.
All documents and drawings relating to the design and its implementation are the copyrighted property of Hyde Inside and are to remain confidential. Relevant sections may be released by Hyde Inside to other service providers as necessary. Copies can be made for your personal use only. An additional Design Concept fee of $500 will be charged should the client proceed with the development of a Hyde Inside Design or Concept without the prior agreement of Hyde Inside.
Orders for cabinetry, fabrics, furnishings and indent or other special items will be confirmed with the supplier upon receipt of a minimum deposit of 50%. Where window treatments and soft furnishings are purchased via Hyde Inside, the schedule fee is waived.
Invoices are payable within 7 days of date of invoice. After 7 days, interest on the outstanding balance will be charged at the rate of 2% per week.
For all projects, every effort is made to ensure that the client understands as precisely as possible what the end result of Hyde Inside recommendations will be in terms of visual and practical performance. If you have any doubts at all about style, budget, colour, design features or other practicalities please voice them as soon as possible and in any event before paying the deposit for the first item which becomes due. Whilst Hyde Inside takes pains to pick up and point out any detail or larger area which may be open to doubt or question, the onus is finally with you the client to ensure we have fully grasped your brief.
